Anton Reynaldo Bonifacio

Anton has been working in the various domains of IT and Cybersecurity for over 20 years. He became one of the first Red Hat Linux Certified Engineers (RHCE) and the youngest Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in the Philippines in 2006 at 23. He was awarded with the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) Top Scorer Award for the December 2008 examinations.

Anton is in a unique position as he currently holds both the Chief AI Officer (CAIO) and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) position at Globe Telecom, the Philippines' biggest telecommunications company by market value, where he constantly creates a balance between cybersecurity, privacy, and innovation. He is also responsible for the end-to-end AI strategy of the telco, including its implementation, engineering, and operationalization in the company to better serve its people and customers. As CISO, he has also built, grown, and continues to develop one of the few IT and Network/Telecom converged Cybersecurity and Privacy teams globally, while also helping support Globe's digital portfolio companies and businesses. 

He also holds a position as a board member of G-Xchange, Inc. or GXI, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mynt that handles the mobile wallet operations of GCash, the largest cashless ecosystem in the Philippines.
